It’s a great day to get out on the ice! Start your free Learn to Skate USA lesson with us at the Chilled Ponds Skating Academy.
If you’ve ever dreamed of jumping and spinning on the ice, here’s the place to start. Saturday, March 30th, 12-12:50pm.
Bring gloves, thin socks, a helmet (bike helmet works!) and your willingness to learn! Free skate rental included.

Try Hockey For Free

Chilled Ponds invites you to our rink on Saturday, March 30th at 10am for our Try Hockey For Free Event. This event is designed to provide kids of all ages, a completely free experience to try youth hockey.
This event will not only give your child the opportunity to participate in our on ice activities, but they will be able to dress up in full hockey equipment as well! We do have a limited amount of equipment to lend out and it will be first come, first served. The Try Hockey event will begin at 10am, but it is best to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for check-in and to get dressed in the equipment. Your son or daughter does not need any previous skating or hockey experience.
We will have all of our best coaches on hand including Norfolk Admirals legend Rod "The Rocket" Taylor to make sure your child has a great time during their first hockey lesson.
