The Whalers continue to offer the most comprehensive travel program in the CBHL, providing our players with the most ice time and best value. Whaler Nation continues to strive for excellence on and off the ice while providing a maximum level of competition, coaching, training, and safety for each of our players. In 2022-23 we will continue to offer first class programming to our players, providing them a pathway to Junior and Collegiate hockey. Below is some of the key programming our players will take advantage of in the 2022-23 season, including Summer Happy hour sessions, and 90 minute practices.
All teams at the U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18 levels will have the below baseline programming for the 2022-23 season.
- Whaler Nation Happy Hour (6 weeks of Pre-Season training taught by our junior coaches and power skating instructor Suzie Hewitt). Starting Monday July 11th.
- Weekly Bon Secours InMotion Sports Performance Training with certified trainers.
- ImPact Concussion Testing for all players ages 10+
- 2 practices per week running August 2022-March 2023 (1 and 1/2 hour, 55 Slots). Starting Tuesday August 17th.
- Full CBHL League Schedule
- (18) Home Game Slots for league and exhibition play
- 30-50 Total Games
- Bi-Weekly Goalie Skills Sessions w/ goalie Coach Dalton Stoltz
- Whaler Nation Workout Shorts and Shirt for each player
- Whaler Nation Practice Jersey
All U14, U16, and U18 teams will take part in 2 weeks of Junior training. Skates will run 5 days per week, Monday through Friday. Times and group information will be released after the formation of teams.
All U14, U16, and U18 teams will also have full access to the Whaler Nation gym, with coach supervision for team or individual workouts.
Contracts will be done electronically and in phases. After the 2nd skate, players will be contacted to start the process, the remaining half will be contacted after the 3rd day of tryouts. You have 48 hours to sign your contract and secure your spot. 5% discount for paid in full and a 5% discount for multiple kids. Discounts cannot be combined.
